Da Camera JAM at Discovery Green

I am very pleased that Houston’s Da Camera Society and Discovery Green again asked me to “curate” and emcee a twilight jazz series to be held at Discovery Green every Thursday in April, 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Titled “Da Camera JAM at Discovery Green,” the series is underwritten by the Kinder Foundation, and is part of The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History 12th anniversary Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM). The series will highlight seven different “homegrown” groups, climaxing with New Orleans’ Ellis Marsalis Quartet on April 26.
